D7 Youth Homework Heroes Engage in Constituent Service Through Community Wellness Outreach

Our Youth Homework Heroes are not only dedicated to their studies but also actively learning about civic engagement by assisting our office in meaningful ways. With guidance from our Director of Constituent Services and their youth leaders, they helped call constituents to update and confirm their contact information, ensuring we can better serve the community. During these calls, they also checked in with residents and took notes on any pressing issues that need attention. Through this experience, they are gaining valuable communication skills, learning about constituent services, and developing a deeper understanding of how local government works to support the people of District 7. Their dedication and hard work are making a real impact, and we are grateful for their contributions!
