D7 Digital Marketplace for Small Businesses

Small businesses create a flourishing, diverse economy, and the pandemic highlighted that investments in small businesses are crucial to reducing poverty and closing the racial wealth gap in the City of Boston. I passed a resolution to pilot a Digital Marketplace to facilitate local economic growth by providing an innovative online platform for small businesses to expand their reach and thrive in the digital landscape. The digital marketplace aims to boost the local economy, provide resources for minority-owned businesses, increase visibility, and strengthen the community through connection and support.
